Mike has been in an accident on his bike yesterday involving a car. I don't know all the particulars of the accident.
I do know that he is in intensive care and might possibly lose his left leg.
I know he was conscious at some point because he asked that Scott and I be contacted but we are not allowed to visit him just yet because we are not family.
I'll keep you all posted......
Keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Yep, to take an outer perspective-then apply it is a great ordeal.
I hope this is the case with "75" dont know him personally but have had a few chats in the room or PM`s.

I have spoken with him a good few times. Whichever way round it happened that is irrelevant. He needs EVERYONE'S support right now!

I have just read ALLthe messages posted and would like to thank everyone who has sent their best wishes. I have made a list of all your names and will tell him when I see him today.
The police informed us a young woman driver pulled out in front of him and a witness said he was NOT speeding. There was nothing he could have done to avoid being hit.
He is in Leighton Hospital Intensive Care Unit.
Cath his wife has been with him constantly since he was admitted. I asked If he was Ok with that and he indicated yes,
He was in surgery 6hrs on Friday and again yesterday because the first op to repair the severed artery did not work. They can do no more work on his leg and after he has been to surgery today we should know the worst.
I will keep you all informed and thanks again for your good wishes
