Hi all,
I'm amazed by the complexity of the mobike system here and wonder what yall think of riding a full size bike on a cbt for a while. I intend to take a 2 day DAS course in Feb but I'm trying to save money by getting used to the bigger bike without getting lots of lessons- I've been running around on a 125 and am buying a cb600. What do you think the penalty would be if caught by the ol bill? Would it jeopordize my chances of getting the full license in the future?
cheers & merry Xmas

I would not have said it was complex.
I had never even sat on a bike and went and did an intensive course, cbt followed directly by DAS, by end of first and second day I was knackered but I survived it.
Unfortunatly my test was cancelled on the firday and I had to wait a month due to the examiner needing the dentist.
I had no lessons in the month just rode a 125 took my test and passed with just two minors for balance.
If you have a 125 ride it every day even if its only for an hour, do emergency stops at 30, do u-turns (with out putting foot down) so when you your DAS and then test it will be easier.

dont be a ***FILTERED WORD*** , grow up and get some lessons and do the thing properly, dont give bikers a worse name than we already got in the eyes of society.
you may be lucky and get away with it but I doubt it and when the filth pull you over with no licence insurance etc they'll chuck the book at you and you'll be lucky if you get your arse on another bike [legally] this side of the year 2012.
