Processed peas are just about ok for a nostalgia trip, they remind me of my granny! She didn't look like one of course but she used to serve em. She also did tinned tatties on occasions so I quite like them once in a while too. The best thing she did though was tinned baby carrots but in milk and butter - now they rock!!

Normally buy fresh everything if I can nowadays, trying not to be obese but from time to time I love nostalgia food. In fact it's liver and onions for tea tonight!

i had a tin of spuds blow up on me a few weeks ago...
they was cooking in microwave (not in the tin) opened the door and bang hot water and spuds all over me, burned my stomach quite bad and only just a slight scarring now. so be carefull out there.......

10 mins then take out and roast with some olive oil, mmmmmmmm crispy tats
