Strikes me this is a trick question.
I ride my GSXR at the national limit for the roads I am riding on. It'd be silly of me to state otherwise.
On a track I could ride it pretty fast but not as fast as I could have when I was younger. No way I could ride for a sustained period at anything like the bike could be ridden at. Thats why I'm triking it.
But when I were younger........ an fitter.........and better looking........
and had hair, I could and did ride like a demon. However I did crash a lot finding the limits.
regards
Gary

Is that really true? Thats ridiculous. He should appeal. If theres no proof he was on a public highway how can they do him for it? That bloke should get a better solicitor. And might I add, if I've ever professed to have ridden in excess of the speed limit, I was lying to look hard in front of my mates.

Pointless thread. Maybe we should all just whip out our Johnson and measure it.
Excuse my crudeness, but there is more to biking than straight line speed it makes for nothing more than bar room talk.

I own / built a 81 Harley motor ( 90 ci. 10.5:1 comp w/ 4 speed trans.) after the ton the front end gets light due to the large front fender. Swingarm frame w/ stripped Wide Glide front end. Ride to the bike capabilities?... I ride it / I tighten all the nuts and bolts... I ride it again. Last 10yrs w/ same bike + a Honda Hawk GT 650. Don't ride the Hawk no more, trying to sell.

ZX6 G2, I ride hard enough until I feel the front and rear tyres letting go..... just got some super sticky tyres, gonna have em fitted next week..... see you in hospital soon rofl
Seriously though, it's not about how fast you go in a straight line or corner, it's all about smoothness. I'd rather have a smooth ride and beat people to the meet than have a crap ride and possibly not make it! My bf rides as fast as a nutter but I must admit he is a very good, observant and smooth rider. TC ya'll ;o)

the question wasnt how fast youve been on your bike but how much of your bikes capability can you use on the road ie if youve got a cg125 about 85% or a gixer thou 35% now lets try again and remember be honest
