there are plans to build a 100 million pound mega mosque in london! this will be bigger than st pauls! what would the reaction be if we wanted to build a cathedral in pakistan? copy and paste this there are 7 DAYS LEFT!

bear 1300cc Superstar Joined: Friday, October 29, 2004 Posts: 5790 Location: cumbria United Kingdom	kind of gixx... i dont feel the need to have a chat with "the allmighty" mainly cos im not seeing her any more lol. i dont disbelieve in God ( for want of a better phrase) but i dont believe in organised religion. that is the root of all evil in my mind as it is a bunch of old men trying for whatever reason to control the masses. I reckon marx had it right on that score at least. (at least we can vote governments out, we cant do likewise with religions) i dont care if someone wants to worship their god in whatever way they choose (unless the way they choose is blowing themselves up etc) hey its their choice as long as it dosnt infringe upon me and any others that for whatever reason dont subscribe to their way of thinking. modern society has no need of "religion" but i reckon most of society needs a bit of being more spiritual if you see what i mean. most religions seem to say we should all strive to get on with one another and im all for that but when one of the god botherers says i shouldnt do this or that then thats not going to make for a happy bear. so in ending i dont believe in hell nor do i belive in heaven i dont think there is some geezer with a big beard up there looking down watching us all have a crap or whatever either. nor do i think he/she rides a harley... though i wouldnt mind if he/she did if they exist. organised religion is just plain wrong and needs to be stamped out. ffs this is the 21st century... but each to their own . -- revenge is a dish best served...............with croutons

bear 1300cc Superstar Joined: Friday, October 29, 2004 Posts: 5790 Location: cumbria United Kingdom	the thing is whilst the story is bogus the petition is real! the story was put out there (in my opinion) to discredit ken livingstone (as if he needed any more discrediting) the mayoral elections are going to happen soon and this story/petition may well have been put out to make folk want to vote for someone other than who is currently the mayor. I dont hold with tarring all of a minority with the same brush but i dont live in a fluffy world either there are wrong uns in every section of society and they need to be dealt with. It is of the utmost importance that freedom of speech is allowed to take place and if that means that some folk are gonna be offended then so be it. -- revenge is a dish best served...............with croutons

So a sale is being held by auction on here tonight for plastic items such as blue trees, green egg cups various toys you may find replicated in an Anne summers catalogue and of course a fluffy rabbit (Dont ask, it was Bears idea!) All proceeds will be gratuitously kept for own use, charity begins at home is our motto! Free Gurt sticks will be provided for the 1st 25 customers with a winning bid and having both their parents and grandparents present at the award ceremony. However there is a ban on dead bodies being used in public places as like the new smoking laws, and its cheating anyway. Gurt sticks are on back order for existing clients and will be despatched as soon as Bear finds a way of fiddling the Franking machine.
