Mike has been in an accident on his bike yesterday involving a car. I don't know all the particulars of the accident.
I do know that he is in intensive care and might possibly lose his left leg.
I know he was conscious at some point because he asked that Scott and I be contacted but we are not allowed to visit him just yet because we are not family.
I'll keep you all posted......
Keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Hello MikesMum here,
Mikes skin grafts have taken ok! The doctors are pleased with them. He is still in some pain but the pills are helping there.
He has been out and about in his wheelchair, to the shop and out in the grounds for some fresh air and sunshine. He is in good spirits and talks constantly about the bike he wants and the modifications needed.
I'll keep you informed on his progress!!

Mike has been moved back to Leighton Hospital in Crewe this afternoon.
Back to Ward 11 - which has no tv : ( Hopefully, he will be moved to another ward soon with more action.
He will gladly welcome any visitors!
