Mike has been in an accident on his bike yesterday involving a car. I don't know all the particulars of the accident.
I do know that he is in intensive care and might possibly lose his left leg.
I know he was conscious at some point because he asked that Scott and I be contacted but we are not allowed to visit him just yet because we are not family.
I'll keep you all posted......
Keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

lol,I think it's much more fun for visitors to go in asking for 750ninja!
I still giggle when i think about daisyduke, blondie, Kaptain Kwak etc, all introducing themselves to the ward sister, roflmfao!!
Sounds to me like there was a fancy dress party going on, lol.
Still thinking of ya Mike.....
And Steve1, if you can manage it, i think folk previously printed off our good wishes and managed to forward them to Mike.......Just a thought, keep us posted though eh?
Cheers.

Hello Mikes Mum here,
Went in to see Mike this weekend, he seems a lot better in himself today since his rash has gone. He is stil waiting for the all clear on the infection before any skin grafting can be done.
He has someone to talk bikes with in the ward now. The patient in the next bed to him is a biker too. He had his accident while riding in the Manx.
I will let you all know when he finally has his op.
Jenny

Hello Everyone,
Mike went to theatre last night and had some skin grafting done, at last!!
I phoned this morning and was told he has had his breakfast, always a good sign.
I wont know until we go in today how much has been done and whether he will need any more. If all has gone well he could be back in Leighton in a couple of weeks.
I'll let you know any more news as I find out.
Jenny
