I find the imposters here with silly names laughable, and the ones with short memories.
Apart from that genuine comedy not forced canned tripe. Tommy Cooper oh yes, and why was he funny, cos if you read his history his act came about from stage fright. He took this and developed it into his act, but deep down he always had stage fright with every performance.
What a way to go though, doing what you loved and plinking offa this mortal coil.
As its oldies theme, Sid James was a laugh, miserable git in real life sometimes but he had a way with words. Bob Monkhouse live, now there you need a filter hes so blue its untrue. Mike Reid is another.
Not one recent comedien really sets me on fire at the moment, we have waves of them, this is a trough i think.

peter kay i think is very funny too
and eddie murphy ........ but his early stuff cos once he got really famous his stand up wasn't as funny ......... deliarious was the funniest one ever!
