Hey there biker friends,
I am posting this as a cry for help. My brother had a bike accident almost 2 months ago, resulting in severe injuries. He was riding his CBR600 RR (withing the legal speed limit) when his front tire exploded, making him crash, breaking both his legs and suffering severe internal injuries. The insurance only covers half the cost of the operation, and with what money we had put together, we are still short. He suggested, and i quote "ask my biker friends for help, I'm sure they'll come through". I'm not sure if this is the right thing to do, but I'm out of options. Follow the link and ONLY if you can spare something please make a donation, every cent counts. If not, I'm sure some kind words will help him make it through much easier.

If this is a scam you should be ashamed of yourself. Most here have experienced the real thing.
If it's not then we wish him all the best, but come on seriously, do you expect us to hand out cash just because you ask? There must be 1,000s of under-insured people in the u.s. in the same position, slippery slope alert !!!
Why don't you do a sponsored walk or some other fund raising event on his behalf.
Sorry to sound cynical but I know if I needed some help I wouldn't randomly look for biker forums and scrounge for cash, i would think of ways of earning it for myself !!

Surely if he had no money but had internal injuries then he would be gone by now?
Not being synical here...but life threatening injuries dont wait for donations.

Its CYNICAL
Personally I have had a front tyre blow out and its scary, however even at 110mph I was able to control it.
As discussed the climate in USofA is to sue, not beg. So I am in agreement with the majority here.

If you can keep your head while all about you are losing theirs, you probably haven't grasped the seriousness of the situation!
