My bloody garage flooded twice last year. My road is on a bit of a slope and the run-off from all the gardens flows down the hill right into the side of my garage. There's nowt I can do about it except keep everything off ground and in plastic boxes then spend all day swishing the bloody water out when it floods. I've been ill for the last few days so I've not looked, I hope it's not 2 foot deep in there...

My garage dont flood but does have water comin in when it rains heavy. I have both me bikes in there but just have the gixa covered up wiv an old cotton bed sheet. went to check on em today n swop battery charger over n noticed serious amount of condensation on the gixa - the chain had rusted up but luckily thats all. Anybody have any ideas on how to stop this happening ???????? Can't fit this one in the house this year as i have done with past bikes due to building work !!

First of all lube the chain, its rusted because of lack of lube.
Covering things will always produce condensation. Try a space heater with thermostatic control to keep the garage at an even temp. Or just do not cover the bike.

Cheers ox - I sprayed chain with a wax lube bout 6 weeks ago n only used her twice since puttin in garage, i thought this would of bin ok ? The rain water comes in through the base ( old timber frame with asbestos panels ) and until time n money shows its face to renew it, i guess best thing to do will be leave the cover off. After all dust is better than rust !

Asbestos.............you`ll need a real company to remove that ***FILTERED WORD*** e.
Do NOT try and remove it yourself.

Unless of course you want to die sooner than later.

FFS thought all that was gone by now.

Think you`ll find asbestos removal has to be done by a licensed and registered company.

1) mate with a van
2) bit of countryside
3) fly tip

costs less if ya dont get caught but bring some lube just in case you do get caught coz the rozzers will screw you over
